Going in depth on Vision

Hi friends... :)
After a long time,I came back.... I have focused on Vision nowadays (and maybe for the rest of my life !). It's a VERY HOT and High-Tech area; specially when you focus on Advanced Autonomous systems(like Robots and Vehicles). BTW, if you are interested in AI too(specially Neural Net and Fuzzy approaches on vision), please check my blog and send me email (your proposals, etc..)
Hummm...... my current direction of studying is about Image and knowledge classification based on a Neuro-Fuzzy and Neuro-statistical(PNN) methods . Thank you Pattern Recognition !!!!;)

cheers.

View Source Chart Firefox Extension

One of the best practices for any (X)HTML newbie is to split any existing code to it's elements. For example, when I was started (X)HTML (4 years ago)I have to right-click on any webPage-->viewsource and start to reading the whole code from scratch.Specially, when I had to understand Tables...it was to boring.I invented a personal way!I made it color!and then when I recompiled (if compile term is right!) it , the target table was colored:) and....
Last night,I saw a FireFox extension which draw all of your webPage in a very nice and colorful diagram. When you install it,you have to restart the FireFox.Then when you you right-click on the webpage,in the down part, you see "view page chart".
I promise you will surprise when you see the output.it's a very nice and inventive hack:)

Statestep Python code generation

Python code can now be generated from a Statestep model using a template ... Statestep enables you to easily define and address millions of combinations of possibilities. While designed to support a particular method of specification, it can also be used in more general ways, for example, as a powerful replacement for decision table tools...

New Budget NASA Space Science Missions

The New York Times is reporting that 'Some of the most highly promoted missions on NASA's scientific agenda would be postponed indefinitely or perhaps even canceled under the agency's new budget.' This looks to directly impact the types of missions that have been NASA's greatest successes like the Mars Rovers. 'Among the casualties in the budget, released last month, are efforts to look for habitable planets and perhaps life elsewhere in the galaxy, an investigation of the dark energy that seems to be ripping the universe apart, bringing a sample of Mars back to Earth and exploring for life under the ice of Jupiter's moon Europa'

Effective Code Reviews Without the Pain

I read a very nice paper about Code review. The main concentration
point of this paper is on about having Fun with code review.
Although I admit the paper "soul",But there is not more than
YOU have to change your "poiny of view".Offering the concepts
like "Remembering the purpose" is criticalpoint to undestand
the matter. If you got involved with a OOP-project(specially),
and you have to finish and optimize it as soon as possible,
you maybe know that world is tending to DARK,Huh?!!
Well,if you have faced by this problem this paper is FOR YOU :)
Have Fun....

PYML,where Python and ML get married

Hi There....

I've just tried PyML .What's it?
PyML is an interactive object oriented framework for
Machine Learning in Python !
WOW!! great ,isn't it ?
It supports SVM,Filter Methods(Humm),Model Selection and ...
I use Debian Linux so,I didn't faced by any problem to use it.
But if you are Win User,SORRY,it has some native C++ code !!
It means you can't use it. Bingo !!!:)
But don't panic,I 've read the source code.
It's cool, you can migrate it to Window$ easily.
Who knows!I optimized it for you,Maybe.But I don't promise :)

Update:As I mentioned in previous Post,I love AI ...specially
AI approach to Control Systems.
I wanna Mix it with some cool fields.Fields Like DCS and SCADA need it a lot.
What about Machine Vision and/or Robotics?
These are common and interesting areas.

Cheers

My approach to AI,Cognition and Maestro

Hello dear visitor....
I don't know why I send this POST !!!
This is too personal stuff...BUT you know,I wanna share
my Idea with you because I can'tFind anybody who
understand my unCommon Idea :(
UnCommon Idea?
Yes a bit.My field is Electrical ! so...
WHY I LOVE AI and Cognitive Science ??
My friends told me that I'm dreamy person !!
They instead advised me to Focus on High Voltage.
For the first time, one of my collage mates advised that when
he saw I've downloaded MAESTRO source code and soaked up on
it's sources for along 4 hours !It was designed very nice and clear.
Good work JPL :)
Please Forgive me because of this post,
I know this is Fuzzy fact. But it's exactly the point,exactly...
AI is nice because it is Fuzzy and challenging..
when you prefer to consider the Biology to find analgorithm....
that's a revelation. When you got fascinated by it's beauty Hum...
That's not just code anymore, your code is alive and it can
spead and communicate with other codes.
It can makes colony and collects knowledge till extreme.
You can create and make them alive.
Why cognition is so critical for me? I don't know,I don't know...
